One of the most humorous Corona memes has been circulating the internet for some time now; a picture of a dinosaur with a provocative message ‘’They didn’t wash their hands and they disappeared’. I wonder if such a joke would be made by small, green beings from outer space while visiting Earth, as a testimony to a civilization that is gone. For this joke to remain just a harmless outing of human creativity and wit, it is especially important to pay attention to personal hygiene in these times. The famous ‘’Son, did you wash your hands?’ question that is synonyms with every childhood, now takes on a new meaning. Ironically (or not) human civilization, re-learns to perform the actions we once adopted as children. So this text is an open call for all of us to work together, as a civilization, to avoid the fate of memes from the beginning of the text – fostering responsible behavior.Internetom vec neko vreme kruži jedan od zanimljivijih memova na temu Korone; slika dinosaurusa uz simpatičnu poruku ,,Nisu prali ruke i nestali su’’.  Pitam se da li bi jednu ovakvu šalu napravila mala, zelena bića iz Svemira u poseti Zemlje, kao svedočanstvo o jednoj civilizacijikoje više nema. Da bi ova šala ostala samo bezazleni izlet ljudske kreativnosti i duhovitosti, posebno je važno da u ovim vremenima obratimo pažnju na ličnu higijenu. Čuveno ,,Sine, jel si oprao ruke?’’ pitanje, koje je obeležilo svačije detinjstvo, danas dobija novo značenje. Ironično (ili ne) ljudska civilizacija, ponovo uči da obavlja radnje koje smo nekada davno, kao deca, usvajali. Zato je ovaj tekst apel da se svi zajedno potrudimo da izbegnemo sudbinu mema sa početka teksta  – negujući odgovorno ponašanje.

In these times, extra caution is important then ever, if not crucial. However, we must not let fear consume us and rule our daily lives. In addition to physical, mental hygiene is equally important. Endless scrolling, flipping through news and reading the same information all over again can confuse us, and often can drive us crazy. Below, you will find concise advice that will help you take care of yourself and the loved ones.Dodatna opreznost u ovim vanrednim situacijama je važna, ako ne i presudna. Međutim, ne smemo dozvoliti da nas strah pojede i zagospodari našom svakodnevicom. Pored fizičke, posebno je važno održavanje mentalne higijene. Beskrajno skrolovanje, prelistavanje i čitanje istih informacija mogu da nas zbune, a neretko i izlude. U nastavku ćete pronaći sažete instrukcije o održavanju higijene – kako vas,  tako i onih vama dragih.
1.Hand washing1. Pranje ruku
“With foam, there is no joke, she is true virus-killer” – says one old educational children song which nowadays even the sparrows are singing. Hands should be washed regularly with soap and very warm water as the virus is sensitive to high temperatures. In any situation outside the home (shop, post office, business) it is important to wear gloves that have to be disinfected (or possibly thrown) after use. And, last but not least – wash your hands for at least twenty seconds, just enough to sing the chorus of your favorite song.,,Sa penom nema cile/mile, pobila je sve bacile’’ – ovu pesmicu sada već i vrapci cvrkuću. Ruke treba redovno prati sapunom i veoma toplom vodom jer je virus osetljiv na visoku temperaturu. U svakoj situaciji van doma (prodavnica, pošta, posao) važno je nositi rukavice koje se posle korišćenja dezinfikuju (ili po mogućstvu bacuju). I, da perite ruke najmanje dvadeset sekundi, taman onoliko koliko je dovoljno da se otpeva refren i strofa vaše omiljene pesme.
2.Clothes and shoes2. Odeća i obuća
All our items should be handled with care and responsibility. The clothes that you are wearing outside are recommended to be taken off in the hallway and then spread out on the terrace to be well ventilated (at least half an hour). If you do not have a terrace, you can do the same thing in the lobby. Repeat this ritual each time you return home. Special attention should be paid to the hygiene of shoes that come in contact with asphalt surfaces. Shoe cleaning is done with a dilute solution of water and chlorine in a spray bottle.  And do not forget to take them off while you are still in the entrance area of your home.I sa našim odnevnim predmetima treba rukovati pažljivo i odgovorno. Preporučuje se da odeću koju ste nosily napolju, skinite u hodniku i prostrite na terasu da se dobro provetri (minimum pola sata). Ukoliko nemeate terasu, možete istu stvar obaviti u predvorju.. Isti postupak ponavljajte svaki put kada se vraćate kući. Posebnu pažnju treba posvetiti higijeni obuće koja dolazi u kontakt sa asfaltnim površinama. Čišćenje obuće vrši se razblaženim rastvorom vode i hlora u flaši sa raspršivačem –a skidanje ispred ulaza u kuću/stan.
3.Living space hygiene3. Higijena prostora
If the eyes are the mirror of our souls, then the apartment is the mirror of our hygiene and purity. To avoid becoming a Cinderella who cleans up paranoid to exhaustion, follow these short tips and stay calm. The most important thing is to regularly clean and disinfect the corridor and floor that has been in contact with your outdoor clothing. Also, door handles, phones and keys should be disinfected from time to time.  Dispose of the garbage once every few days and keep it in special bags that are in a safe and dry place.Ako su oči ogledalo naše duše, onda je stan ogledalo naše higijene i čistoće. Da se ne biste pretvorili u Pepeljugu koja paranoično čisti do iznemoglosti, sledite sledeće kratke savete i budite mirni. Najvažnije je da redovno očistite i dezinfikujete hodnik i pod koji je bio u kontaktu sa odećom. Takođe, kvake, telefoni i ključevi koji se unose u kuću trebaju biti dezinfikovani. Đubre izbacujte jednom u nekoliko dana, i držite ga u posebnim kesama koje su na bezbednom i suvom mestu.

Ove aktivnosti će vam vremenom prerasti u naviku, baš kao tuširanje ili pranje zubu. Budite mirni, čisti (i spolja i iznutra) i brinite o sebi, baš kao i o drugima.
